ARK: Survival Ascended is the complete rebuild of ARK: Survival Evolved on Unreal Engine 5. The principle remains that of an open-world survival game: naked on a beach, you gather stones and berries, you craft your first tools, you build a shelter, then you tame dinosaurs to carry, fight and harvest in your place. The rebuild brings significantly reworked lighting, vegetation and water physics, as well as an adjustment of many mechanics.
