Autodesk AutoCAD 2026 is the most recent version of Autodesk's computer-aided design software, for 2D technical drawing and 3D modelling. It equips architects, engineers, technical offices, surveyors and industrial draughtsmen who produce and exchange plans in DWG format.

Nature of the licence, without ambiguity: it is a one-year subscription for one workstation, and not a perpetual licence. After the 12 months, the software stops working without renewal. AutoCAD is no longer available as a permanent purchase from Autodesk and has not been for several years.
