Mewgenics is a turn-based tactics and roguelike game developed by Edmund McMillen (creator of The Binding of Isaac and Super Meat Boy) with Tyler Glaiel. The concept rests on breeding: you put together a team of cats with randomly generated characteristics and mutations, you send them into battle on a tactical grid, and you have them breed to pass traits and abilities on to the following generations. The dark humour and the hand-drawn graphic style are the author's signature.

Log in with these credentials in the Steam client to install and play. Steam's offline mode is useful for playing without a session conflict.

System requirements

The game is in 2D and remains undemanding: a recent Windows PC, even an entry-level one, is more than enough. Allow for a few gigabytes of disk space. An Internet connection is required at first launch.
