How a 5 PC licence works

You receive a single key, which you enter in turn on each of the five computers. Each activation uses one of the five rights. The machines need not be identical or on the same network: the key works just as well on a desktop computer at the office as on a laptop at home. Once the five activations are done, the key is exhausted.

One-off purchase rather than subscription

Unlike Microsoft 365, this licence is paid for once only. It does not give access to the subscription's cloud services (extended OneDrive storage, new features added continuously), but the applications remain usable with no time limit.

Activation

The activation key is sent to you by e-mail within 24 hours at most. Install Office on each machine, open Word, then enter the key in File › Account. Activation is done online.
