STAR WARS Battlefront II, developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts, is a first- and third-person shooter set in the Star Wars universe. It offers large multiplayer battles for up to forty players on planets drawn from all three trilogies, squadron-based space combat, tighter modes with smaller teams, as well as a single-player campaign that follows Iden Versio, commander of an elite Imperial unit in the aftermath of the Battle of Endor.
