Assassin's Creed Shadows takes the series into late-16th-century Japan, in the Sengoku era. The game rests on two playable characters with radically opposed styles: Naoe, a shinobi specialising in infiltration, agility and silent elimination and Yasuke, a samurai who came from Africa, built for direct confrontation and raw power. You switch between the two depending on the approach you want, each having their own skills, weapons and reactions from the world towards them.
