Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer horror game developed by Behaviour Interactive. Four survivors try to repair five generators to open the exit gates, while a fifth player, the killer, hunts them and hooks them to sacrifice them. All the tension comes from this imbalance: the survivors have no weapon and can rely only on running, pallets, windows and coordination.

What awaits you

• Two opposing sides — play as a team on the survivor side, or alone and in first-person view on the killer side.
• Killers with unique powers — each has their own ability: teleportation, traps, invisibility, rapid movement, which completely changes the way you flee.
• Skills to unlock — perks are earned then shared between characters, letting you put together your own builds.
• Varied maps — each environment is generated with different layouts, so no two matches are ever alike.
• Licensed characters — the base game lays the foundations; many killers and survivors from horror films are offered separately and are not included here.
• Short matches — a round usually lasts about ten minutes.
