For The King, developed by IronOak Games, crosses the turn-based role-playing game, the board game and the roguelike. The kingdom of Fahrul sinks into chaos after the assassination of the king: the queen calls for volunteers and you form a small band of three heroes to travel the map, face what lurks there and complete the quest. Each game generates a different world, divided into hexagonal tiles crossed by spending movement points.

• Turn-based combat — each action is resolved by dice rolls whose probabilities you see, with the option to spend focus to improve a decisive roll.
• Map exploration — caves, dungeons, villages and merchants spread across a board generated randomly with each new campaign.
• Three heroes to manage — varied classes (miner, hunter, scholar, blacksmith…), equipment to distribute and inventory shared between the group's members.
• Three-player co-operation — online or in local split screen, each controls a character; you can also play alone by directing all three.
