Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is the new instalment in the turn-based strategy series, developed by Unfrozen for Ubisoft. It revives the structure that made the franchise's reputation: on an adventure map, your hero moves about, picks up resources, captures mines and recruits creatures; in the towns, you construct the buildings that unlock new units; and when two armies meet, you switch to a tactical battle map where each stack of creatures acts in turn according to its initiative.
