Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – War Sails is a downloadable expansion (DLC) that opens up the maritime dimension of TaleWorlds' game. Where Bannerlord was played exclusively on land, War Sails adds ship construction, sailing and combat at sea, with new coastal regions to explore and conquer. This is additional content: the base game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is essential to enjoy it, this DLC does not run on its own.

What the expansion includes

• Fleet and shipbuilding — assemble your ships by components (hull, sails, oars) and adapt them for combat or troop transport.
• Naval battles — battles at sea with boarding, ranged fire and manoeuvres depending on the wind.
• New coastal regions — ports, islands and maritime towns added to the campaign map.
• Maritime trade — sea trade routes, faster but exposed to piracy.

Compatibility

PC running Windows, via the Steam platform. A Steam account and the base game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord installed are required. Allow for the recommended configuration of the main game: naval battles with a large number of units on screen put significant demands on the processor.

Activation

Your Steam CD key is sent to you by email within 24 hours maximum after payment is confirmed. Open the Steam client, click Games then Activate a Product on Steam, enter the code: the expansion is automatically added to your library and downloads on top of the base game. The content then remains permanently tied to your Steam account.
