Overcooked! 2 is the sequel to the co-operative cooking game by Ghost Town Games, developed with Team17. It retains the same formidable formula — preparing and serving orders within a time limit in absurd kitchens — with two major additions: online multiplayer, absent from the first instalment, and the ability to throw ingredients from one end of the room to the other.

What awaits you

• Online play — play with friends remotely, or locally on the same screen, up to four chefs.
• Throwing ingredients — a mechanic that changes everything: you toss food across the kitchen to gain precious seconds, at the risk of missing your target.
• Moving kitchens — hot-air balloons, sushi on conveyor belts, retracting bridges, magic portals that teleport the chefs.
• Varied recipes — sushi, pasta, pancakes, cakes, burgers, each with its own preparation chain.
• Versus mode — take on another team rather than co-operate, for those who want a fight.
• Star rating — replay each level to optimise it and unlock the rest of the map.

Activation on Steam

In the Steam client, open Games then Activate a Product on Steam and enter the key. This key is a worldwide version: it has no regional restriction and activates from Switzerland. The online mode requires an Internet connection and an active Steam account.

System requirements

Very modest: a recent 64-bit Windows PC, 4 to 8 GB of RAM and a graphics card, even integrated, are enough. The game runs without problem on laptops. A few gigabytes of disk space.
