Tempest Rising is a real-time strategy game that fully embraces its heritage: it takes up the structure of the great RTS games of the 1990s and 2000s, with base building, resource harvesting, a tech tree and armies to assemble. The action takes place in an alternate history where a world conflict has caused the Tempest to grow, an energy plant as precious as it is dangerous, around which rival factions clash. The game offers scripted solo campaigns as well as skirmish and online battles.
