It provides the directory, file, print, DNS, DHCP and web server roles and allows two virtual machines on the licensed host. The extended support for Windows Server 2016 has reached its end: this version is therefore suitable for a lab server, a machine isolated from the public network or a specific application compatibility, rather than for a server exposed on the Internet.
